What Motif does
Open the folders you already use. Motif scans them, keeps watching as the work changes, and keeps every track, collaborator, collection, and followed source within reach.
- Types: Jump straight to the type-tag groupings Motif reads from your library metadata.
- Collab: Return to every track made with a specific collaborator.
- Custom: Shape collections, covers, and order around the way you think.
- Tracked: Follow Discord, Telegram, Google Drive, and Dropbox sources without mixing them into your local catalog.
- Listening: Open any beat into one uninterrupted listening space. Move through the waveform, read the details, and stay with the work without leaving your library.
- Visualizer: Turn your own productions into places to spend time in. Explore five live scenes here—a small sample of nearly 400 visualizers in Motif.
- Opportunities: Keep the artist or A&R, private notes, selected beats, message, and every pack in context.
- Send Outs: Build the next loop or beat pack, deliver it to saved destinations, and return to every send.
- Content: Create the listing, carry its purchase link into YouTube, then publish or schedule both together.
Why Motif uses Google sign-in
You sign in to your Motif account with Google. Google Sign-In provides the email address, account identifier, sign-in status, and basic profile information needed to recognise your Motif account. Motif does not receive your Google password.
Connecting Google Drive is optional. Motif uses the limited drive.file permission, not read-only access to your whole Drive. Motif can open only the files and folders you explicitly select in Google Picker, for browsing, playback, and downloads you choose. Motif does not see the rest of your Drive and does not edit or delete Drive files.
